It's actually really hard to hear past the reverb, but.
-...we enter a new age, an age of (shopping malls? I have no idea)...
an age of an age of confusion, of fear
But he saw it coming. His machine was a total innovation of its time. (tense might be different; hard to hear)
...great things...
(something about paradise?)
...not be destroyed.
-He's been gone for almost 18 years, but his dream is as alive today as it ever was.
For (?)self, for everyone...
^ S'what I got. I feel like they're dropping titles or nods to other songs in it, but nothing directly about Emily ("Land of Confusion"--fuckawful presidency and the resultant issues, "18 and Life"--manslaughter sentence). Not sure if they're talking about Light or Wily (but considering the way the narrative goes, I'd assume Wily) because I can't hear a name. It honestly sounds more like an obituary for Wily than it does a news report on Emily's death. Liner notes might be referring to something that comes after this.
